just got a gsxr400rr 89/90 model from one of the blokes i know but theres a few things wrong with it.
1. rear disc has seen much better days
2.will need a full service including brake fluid change
3.fork seals have gone
4. think there is maybe an issue with the gearbox as it makes some funny noises when idling and blipping the throttle.
5.rpm guage not accurate, on idle no reading. normal?
due to lack of manuals and whatnot could anyone give any knowhow? rear disc should be easy enough but the other issues? :?:

Fork seals are easy to do, there is a guide on the internet, type it into google should give you some sites. I've just got myself a GK73a SP but nowt wrong with it so don't have much of an idea on the rest of your woes sorry. The rev counter starts at 3000rpm on these so as long as you're getting a reading when you blip the throttle I would that it works.
