has any one tried fitting an oil cooler on the rocker feed pipe on a 3tj ? would it be any help i wonder

You can take the feed off the oil filter like the 4DX and the 600's.
most of the standard TJ's and the 600 coversions run cool enough. If it's for racing then fit a better radiator, it's probably lighter than the extra weight of oil, pipes and cooler.
