Hi all,
Got some SES rearsets and having a bit of trouble fitting them.
How do I fit this the new linkage rod??

And I'm struggling to remove my rear exhaust headers. Any tips?

Thanks

I am sure someone will have a better idea, but you could use a deep open ended nut i have some for a similar job, like an ordinary nut but 4 times as deep. You can get left and right thread and a mix of both. I cant find a pic of the one i have, will try to dig one out.
Rear headers; remove, foot hanger, wheel, seat unit, and anything else that is in the way. bit of a job, but it will save you time and skin on your fingers ;) also have a couple of socket nuckles to get to cylinder 1 as that one can be tricky to get to :peace:

youl need to get a female rose joint, so that the rod can screw into it.

I think the female rose joint is part of the gear selector clamp, and cant be taken off/changed.

I'll try this idea. Hopefully B&Q will have some.

You can't, it's press fitted. But you can remove it by drilling it out and then bolt a female rose joint in. Worked for me.

You need the correct NC30 end, it has the female joint as standard.

Ok thanks all. Does that mean I need a different gear selector clamp? I don't know where this current one has come from. It came with my bike. I'd rather buy a new clamp than drill the current one and attach a new rose joint.
Anyone got one available?
Thanks
