Found a tiny amount of play today so looking at the bits to order. Any advice from people who've done this job before?

Am assuming I need 2 x bearings 2 x seals and 1 x lock nut (have got the part numbers). Anything else?

I did mine years ago now but I think Rick Oliver or Graeme France supply these parts for you, both members of the forum I believe.

Thanks. Got it all apart now and the larger bearing was bone dry! Feels a lot better now I filled it full of grease

Fingers crossed that will improve things considerably. Got to be good for a hp or two too

Yeah that will probably help it a lot! Haha. But usually with bearings, once they start to wear, it will get worse quite quickly.

Have you checked the rear hub pinch bolt is torqued correctly (i think 55Nm). If this is loose, the wheel will feel like it's loose too.

The big dual bearing (Koyo 6908RS comes to mind) thats two 12mm bearings connected together by a plastic strip retails for £65.00, David Silvers often have these instock for around £25 - £30 as they get theirs straight from Japan.
