Hi,
Does anyone have any photos or information on how to modify the nc30 linkage to correct the ride height when swapping to a 17 inch nc35 wheel.
Any help would greatly appreciated.
Thanks Jacob.

Nice bike, looks like an early model (doesn't look to have a rear shock res?).
To raise the back up to where it should be (possible more, as the standard rear isn't high enough), you can shorten the lower shock linkage.
You need to drill another hole in the lower link where the tri link(?) attaches to. 1cm shorter at the link equates to about 3.5cm higher at the rear (I think the linkage ratio is 1:3.5, someone here might be able to verify).
Drilling at exactly 10mm shorter means it will run into the standard hole, so you might want to get the std hole filled before drilling a new one (probably not essential).
Doing this also modifies the shocks spring rate etc, so you'll have to adjust the shock afterwards.
I can put some pics up in a couple of days.

This pic shows a new hole drilled. The previous owner did this and I suspect it has been drilled too far out (approx. 15mm) making the back too high if it was used.

I'm in regional Vic, about an hour from the Winton and Broadford tracks.
That pic is of my spare bike, the other bike has runs a later model honda shock (to suit regs) done by TM suspension, so it's linkage hasn't been modified (runs a 17").

I drilled mine 11 mm centre-to-centre which equates to approx. 35 in gained ride height. Clearance is fine, but 12 mm would be on the edge me thinks. I had the old holes welded to be on the safe side (and it looks nicer). It just so happens that I need to get myself a standard linkage now due to getting my shock rebuilt with adjustable ride height. I'll do a straight swap if any Aus members are keen.

I'll take ye up on that.
You can have the one in the link above, still has a standard hole and you can weld the extra one over if need be (or leave it and say it's been race lightened...).
I want your modded link for my roadie.

Done. Too easy!
