NC23 Bulbs H4

hi all, new to the CBR world i got a crashed cbr400rr j88 off ebay with the idea of putting back on the road. it had no bulbs in it so got some H4 bulbs cut a tab so they fit now got told that it could burn out the regulator rectifier is this true many thanks jason

They will burn out the switchgear.

- or fit a HID kit, which only uses 35w as well?
Am getting one as soon as I get spare Paypal fundage...
55W H4's will melt your hi/lo beam switch!

h4s will kill your bat . put hids on it . normal lights are crap
