Going the Hybrid route, now on the road!
Hi, new to this site but been reading stuff for a long time now. I Have a good running engine 400 1989 done 18000 miles, also carbs, airbox, cdi, clocks, radiator.
Will also be breaking a 1992 fzr600 in about a months time when the 4/6 is done.
Can't wait to get it on the road after reading stories on here
So if there's anything you need, let me know.
I'm in London

Re: Going the Hybrid route, loads of parts for sale
You say an '89 fzr ... is it a 3TJ or a 3EN2 model ?
Actually I could do with a choke lever and I'm in London too.

3EN2...ok I'll take pics. Making a start tomorrow (Saturday) Going to remove engine and everything else i need to junk, will clean up the frame etc while i have the chance, then wait for my new engine to arrive, incidently the engine i have bought has been tuned by Slipstream, the head has been flowed, not sure if the cams are standard or not. But hopefully it should punch out a few more horses

I was pleased with price yeah, bit of a bargain if it's ok. I have to take the alternator of my 600. Any idea how the rotor comes off, will i need a puller or something like the rear wheel spindle to get it off?

The 3en2 has two round headlights with air intakes below them
