How much do NC30 fairings cost?

Post by Man_Named_Dave »

Hey all,

I'm not even gonna be able to think about getting any goodies for my NC30 until late July/August, but I will be looking for a whole set of bodywork w/pillion seat, as my fairings are a tatty race kit.

Given that I like all the paint schemes but don't really mind if they're originals, how much do you chaps think I should save up? I'm defo not getting any dodge kits from Hong Kong.

New from Honda i wouldn't even consider phoning them for a price mate, I had someone quote me 400 pounds for my NC30 farings (minus a tank) when i was asking how much i could sell my original red and black body work for.
Problem is i'm in Thailand, but about 300-400 should pay for a decent set of original bodywork in my opinion :)

New genuine fairings might not be available anymore.

Bits and bobs for the RVF NC35 are available..

Here are their prices so you can get a rough idea on how much bits for the NC30 are likely to cost if you can get them.

Lower Left Fairing: £135.00
Middle left Fairing: £75.00
Side panel / Seat tailpiece, Right hand £149.00
Mudguard £70.00
Screen: £45.00
Fairing Tail light cover: £30.00

As you can see by the partial list of parts

Your looking approx £1350.00 + vat for a set of panels for the bike.

If you really want to get hold of some try phoning lings honda (lings.com) or david silvers (davidsilverspares.co.uk)

Hmm....naah!

I was just wondering what kind of price I'd be likely to get on here. No way I'm getting brand new or mint ones!

Not all of the chinese kits are awful.

Some of them do look half decent, you'll need to ask on here who has chinese kits fitted, I believe theres a thread in the gallery section.

Its the cheapest way to get new parts.

You can of course go through the slow process of ebay / ads etc and snapping up whatever decent comes availble. You'll eventually get a full set.

Just depends on how long you want to wait.

Good advice. Thanks, I'll have a look at the thread.
I prefer performance to aesthetics. I'm not a guy to wash it every day and I'd always prioritise brakes or suspension over looks, but soon enough it'll be falling apart and, as I say, I wanna fit a seat so I can scare the crap out of my friends :)
