nc30 coolant
can anyone recomend a good brand of coolant or is the cheap crap the same and how much will i need as i am changing both rads.

Focus on contents.
You want a Silica (sand) FREE coolant.. lots of car type antifreezes have tiny particles of silica in them to keep the system clean inside.. this works like a mild abrasive.. this will buggar your water pump up on the VFR.
Your LBS should have some. I brought Rock-Oil last time.. my local shop splits it and sells it by the litre.. was about £7.50 for two litres.. more than enough for the as you want to dilute it with DISTILLED water at 50/50.

I like Engine Ice. Also, Royal Purple sells some stuff that is awesome.

rock oil motorcycle coolant ,after i flushed system through holds about 2 litres plus a bit in the expansion overflow bottle so bout 3 litres will do ya so you will have plenty spare for top ups
