What is your favourite VFR400 NC30 Type 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8
Hello peaple
I'm not sure what to do. I have a very clean VFR4OO NC30 1993 Type6 but I love the Type1 RWB, or do I keep it as it is do I decrease the value having RWB Type1 scheme on a 1993 plate. You guys know best?

i really like that scheme mate. I know what you mean about the RWB type1 im toying with doing that too. My advice would be source some 2nd hand panels and do the RWB scheme with them. And then sell your original panels to me!!

there are some aftermarket Jap ones on ebay for each Type i think - usual deal, probably not as perfect as the OEM ones.. but I think those will be hard to source - i had a hell of a time, before stuffing the idea and getting a customer fibre glass kit instead!
ebay ones are about £400 i think, or if you can bring yourself to splash out, Honda will make you some OEM ones for about £1000
my fav was the RWB from '91, or the black/silver one from ..(??)

do not strip standard panels to repaint them, thats just mental ,good condition stock panels are getting hard to come by so if you really want to repaint something source 2nd hand panels and sort them.

RWB panels (type1) are nice but everyone wants them so i'm bored to tears of them, the type 3/4/5 styling float my boat with the triange design really suiting the shape, but the darker the scheme the more i like it, so type 2/4/5/7 are top of my list, plus i really like coloured wheels so type 5/7 look the ticket to me

I owned a neat type 6 and really liked it, but it wasn't everyone's cup of tea.
My taste seems to change every year, but at the mo I really dig the type 2 scheme (based on Seed racing bikes?).
