NC24 Gasket set
Hello chaos,
I have searched high and low so far for a full NC24 gasket set and I cant find one anywhere. Is there a good place to get a set? I have tried Wemoto, David Silvers and Ebay to no avail.
Thanks
Neil

Re: NC24 Gasket set
nope you can't get one anymore :/
What gasket(s) do you need.
you can modify an NC30 head-gasket.. clutch cover and genny cover and sump are readily available too.

Re: NC24 Gasket set
I will be after the head, genny and clutch cover gaskets, and probably a couple more small ones for the radiator pipes, but those I could do with gel gasket.
Thanks for the heads up on the NC30 head gasket, will have to give that a go, is it fiddly to do?

Nope it's pretty much identical, you might have a metal ring you need to remove from the NC30 one, I can't quite recall but it's literally a 5 minute job to do.
They don't have gaskets.. all of the water and oil hoses are either just jubilee clamps or sealed with o-ring.. this includes the thermostat and the chrome water pipe that runs across the V...
David Silvers do all of these.. Genny is about £5, Clutch Side about £11, Sump about £6I will be after the head, genny and clutch cover gaskets,

That's the one, the chrome water pipes in between the 'V', I got confused. O-rings, that saves a job I suppose.Neosophist wrote:Which radiator pipes?probably a couple more small ones for the radiator pipes, but those I could do with gel gasket.

Found most of them now, thank you. Just got to sort the NC30 head gasket now. Should be simple enough as they are common on ebay.
THANK YOU!

Re: NC24 Gasket set
No problem.
That chrome water pipe is sealed with 2 rubber o-rings... do not damage this pipe there obsolete and new ones are impossible to find.. I had to make one when mine developed a leak.
Each end of the chrome pipe shoves into a right hand metal block thats sealed to the block with an odd shaped o-ring (non-standard part) but i re-used mine and it was fine.
