fuel tap

Hi,
really stupid question and i am sorry but this is my first nc 30 and it has a tyga kit on and cant see the fuel tap, is the straight up position on, half way off and straight down the reserve.

Also can the ride height be adjusted with a standard shock?, also what oil do you guys recomened

if your standing beside the bike looking at the tap ,whatever is on top (at 12 o'clock) is what it's at, if i remember right if ON is at 12 and you turn it right one click thats OFF and one more click right is RES

The standard shocks do not have ride height adjustment I'm afraid

They do have pre-load and damping though.
There are some cheap (and not so cheap) options to gain some extra ride height.
10w 40 is the recommended oil, but to be honest the little V4s aren't too fussy as long as you change it regularly. Semi-synthetic works well for me. In my experience, full synthetic can give a little clutch slip.

mod yourrear link then ,rick oliver does (or did) a conversion were you sent him your rear linkage and he modded it and returned it, i jacked the rear up 27mm or similar and increased leg room and turn in, a worthwhile mod if you ask me

Eh? Your footpegs and seat would still be in the same place, relative to each other.
