3TJ Exhaust header/Downpipes replacement
Hi All,
Just got round to starting my 3TJ strip and rebuild, and it appears the exhaust is knackered! Does anyone know if this can be replaced with a system from another FZR? or where i should look for a cheapish replacement? I no ill lose the exup unless i replace like for like, but tbh im more concerned about the getting the bike back together and running in the the first instance....
Thanks in advance,

Try talking to Nick who's just started a hybrid thread he might be selling a set from his 400 engine.

I dont know if this will be of any use, never used them myself :-

I think you'll lose the exup valve, but anythng is better than no exhaust at all and there stainless.
Hope it helps.

Thanks for the responses guys, much appreciated. What Mods do you have to do to the R6 Pipes for them to fit?

To make to r6 headers fit they have to be cut and re-welded.

Ta for the plug Boris!
I may well have a set of 3TJ pipes in good nick up for grabs, depends on how long it takes me to gather the parts for my hybrid.
