Ebay rearsets
Sorry, I'm really sure this will have been covered before, but the search function here is a rubbish!
Anybody tried them "Yoshi" rearsets on eBay? Cheap enough and look good, but I've not seen any photos on here of a bike with them on, so there must be a reason for that?

Bit hit and miss from what ive heard, but to be honest id steer well clear of anything from china thats badged up with a posh name to make it look more expensive, it'll only end in tears.

Re: Ebay rearsets
ive got a set but not fitted yet, you will need a extra gear knuckle to fit them unless your happy to butcher your standard one, plus a inline pressure banjo bolt switch for your back light, quality aint bad but not brill either , you wont win any races because of them,( and i definatly wouldnt stand up on them waving yor arms about rossi style after you cross the line as there no way as strong as standard sets), the peg is attached to the bracket via a small bolt ,i can see it bending if you were to apply any excessive pressure on them, you get what you pay for , they look trick though and would be fine for pottering about the town

Re: Ebay rearsets
why is it rubbish ? you search for words and it goes off and matches them assuming they are in other posts.joshmolloy wrote:Sorry, I'm really sure this will have been covered before, but the search function here is a rubbish!

Re: Ebay rearsets
I guess it's my selection of search terms, and the nature of internet forums in general. I haven't been on any forum where I've been able to find what I'm looking for quickly and easily, but I find in particular here that I have to go through a lot of results.
I didn't mean it to sound critical, it was just an offhand comment, and I know that better selection of search terms would probably help.

Re: Ebay rearsets
Have you tried the advance search?
viewtopic.php?f=22&t=17038&p=119348&hil ... ts#p119348
I haven't tried them so I shouldn't comment - but I will. They look to be very thin and maybe CNC'd from cast aluminium rather than billet. Should be fine for road use though.
