I have just bought some of the Yoshi????? rearsets off flea bay seem ok quality wise for the road not sure about race. A couple of questions I may pose regard fitting of them

1 How can I fit the brake switch as they are for race? I believe you can get banjo's but not sure!

2 The rod for the gear linkeage is completely opposite to the original ie oem mantle bearings are a female thread and the supplied are male. So I will either have to die the new shaft down to suit or any ideas? can post pics if required.

here is the item no 320519029083. I will also have to pack out the left rear set with washers or spacer as will rub on swingarm you also don't get the heel plate for the right side but for VFM they ain't bad. Any advice appreciated.

Stanby I have just found an old post!! But if anyone knows where I can get an inline banjo break switch and how to fit them let me know.

i have them too, you need a banjo bolt pressure switch (ebay do goodrich ones around £10) you remove the banjo bolt from the rear master cyclinder and replace it with the pressure switch one then connect the 2 wires,

to use the link rod that came with them , i used a good quality stanless nylock nut & bolt , i bought a spare gear link knuckle thing off ebay and drilled out the nipple thing that the standard link connected to, then used a nut and bolt to conect it that end in the same way, use a nylock nut with the plastic in the end so it wont work loose ,

just check the thread type is the same , i think that is the correct one , but im sure someone will confirm, i did see a load from the uk from hel / goodrich

Just out of interest did you have to pack out the left foot rest to prevent the hel plate rubbing on the swingarm? Also did you get the right hand heel plate or just went without? Thanks for the info and the link. Luckinly I have a spare OE rearset for that side!!

ive not fitted mine yet , all ready to go on , but not got round to fitting them yet but i got a set of jack up plates to move the rearsets back slightly and they act as a sort of spacer really
