The question would be why bother?

basically to get the vfr800 rear wheel onto the nc30.... since its wider.

im assuming the vfr800's swing arm is different than the nc30?

it might not have much functionality for performance, but i guess might just look nice with a wider wheel / tire.

thanks!

You can fit a 5 inch VFR wheel to the NC30 hub - why not do that?

a 160 is about as large a tyre you can fit with the chain clearance (and even then you might have to space out the sprockets)

wouldn't putting a complete vfr800 swing arm solve the problem of chain clearance?

the vfr800 wheel is 5.5 inch and 180 tire.... so thats what im after. for the nc30.

would this be possible?

thanks!

To get more chain clearance you would have to get/make an offset front sprocket. There would be a lot of engineering involved just to have the look and decreased performance of a wider rear tyre and in my opinion is a waste of time. Others have fitted the VFR750 rear wheel with a modified hub, this looks to be the best option.

It might be easier to fit your nc30 bodywork to a vfr800!

the chain is still going to come off the motor at the same place so moving the swingarm around isn't going to fix it
