no but make sure you tell the insurer that the bike was previously registered overseas. had a fight with an insurance company in 2000 when my mint grey import nc30 was nicked they started getting a bit sticky about the fact bike was a grey import and they were not informed of this . got paid out ok after much wrangling and a letter from dealer i purchased bike from . insurers will use any reason to avoid paying out in a claim so best thing is to be honest with any disclosures with them. :rocks:

Grey import? does that basically mean that they were registered abroad??? Does it affect the cost of the insurance at all ?

Cheers

Not that I have noticed to be honest

I pay £100 TPFT on the NC30 and VFR750

Bennetts seem about the best price wise I have found

and I would avoid E***e with a barge pole, if they are still around?

Have fun

I don't think there's been a problem with my insurance, the companies and comparison websites all decided I have an NC21, which is obviously not a UK model.

At a guess, the missing letters are 'sur' ... and I concur, they're a bunch of sump-feeding reptiles.
