my nc is a 1989 import ive fitted a uk spec speedo to it the old jap one had some wires coming from the back this has none will it affect it running ?

If you have the stock CDI you'll need to fit a resistor to the loom where it plugged into the import speedo, otherwise you'll not get the full top end. They aren't expensive, Rick Oliver sells a plug and play one for a few quid.
