Welcome jimbo,If you look it the inlet stubs on the cylinder head where the carb rubbers fit,
you will see a screw, remove all four and screw in your adapters, job done.Well half of it anyway
now you have got to balance them.

You cant remove the carbs and balance them at the same time if you are using the vacuum gauges cause you need the engine running and carbs working but you will need some sort of long flexible screwdriver.
Or you can take the carbs of and balance them by hand or eye which will get them about right but if you have the vacuum gauges I would stick with them cause they will be smack on

sorry buddy maybe i shoulda asked my question differently, i cant seem to see the places i have to put the vaccum guages onto, will it be easier if i take the carbs out to find out, i can even make some pipes up and blank them off when im done to make it easier for next time.

Nope!
No need to remove the carbs at all..
On the cylinders examine them closeely you'll find a screw on each one (there all in slightly diffrerent places to make it that more complex)
The screws have an alu washer on them.. philips head.. remove them and screw in some take-off adapters (you should have them with your gauges) make sure to use the right sized thread as they come in big / small.

Hi there and welcome! There is no need to do this as once you have balanced the carbs, it is set right for a long time.
Also, best is to use the search button as carb balancing is covered few time and also recently in another thread on here. May find more answers for your queries.
