My mate needs a set of downpipes for her NC35 as her collars have rotted. (Incidentally, I wonder how much money Mr honda saved by using mild steel collars? Crazy bastard) I was thinking I'd just get stainless collars welded on my old set of pipes for her. Question: will my old NC30 pipes fit her NC35 and what dimensions do I need for the collars? Anyone know? Thanks!

Could you take the existing collar off and have some machined the same size and welded together round your existing pipes ?

Yes they'll fit - the same front pipes and slightly different rears.

The only issue is that the sidestand ight touch the pipes...no biggy

No idea on dimensions - it is on here somewhere though..so get a search on for it..or PM rcv4 as he has the pipe skills and has done a few replacements..

You could measure the O.D. of your downpipes and add 0.5mm and get some stainless pipe that size. i have some in the garage which i will measure up for you tomorow and post up if it helps. Cant help much about the length tho, i think off memory i made mine about 40mm long.
