Hiya All,

I've fitted the Refurbed Rear Shock to the CBR400!

1 question:

Fitting the Rear Shock - should I have greased the Spindle of the Mounting Bolts??

The Bearings were pre greased by MCT suspension. I assumed that was enough.

I didn't want to slap loads of grease anywhere near the mounting bolt threads. I Just cleaned the whole area, the bolts, and the threads, and I carefully appiled Thread lock to the Mounting bolt threads.

My neighbour says not an issue, its the bearing that move, and thats what needed greasing.

Hope you can advise.

Cheers
Martin
