thanks polisher, just changed chain as other one was an ebay purchased racelink chain and appeared to have a tight spot which gave problems getting tension spot on. after changing it to a new rk x ring i seem to have the same problem noticed slight wear on the outside edge of the sprocket teeth [ only done about 500mls] i am sure g/box sprocket is right way round so problem could be rear hub/bearing possibly.

thats what i was unsure of the flat side has the size and renthal sticker on it so assumed it was the outward side and the lip side inner

if fitted wrong way would give alignment problems as i noticed slight wear on the outer side of the teeth , going to remove sprocket carrier as i think i may have stupidly fitted thrust washer on the wrong side which may be my problem

i have both washers between hub nut and hub does the thinner one go behind the sprocket carrier
