I noticed yesterday when i was away to go out on the bike that the engine is giving off a bit of a 'smacking' sound when going.

The sound is like a hand slapping a metal table slowly. I think its coming from the left hand rear cylinder and i think it could be a leaking exhaust. This also may be the cause of the vibrations i mentioned earlier,

Has anyone had any experience similar to this. Bike sounding a bit rough, but runs fine, and a loudish noise at tickover.

Hi If it the rear exhaust , start from cold and try to feel with your hand for any leaks .It will soon get bleedin hot so watch out
