hi ive just brought a 1991 vfr nc30 it has 17000 miles on it which i believe is genuine. if the bike is cold i'll put the choke on and let it tick over for a while before i ride it. after a couple of secounds it will cut out so i adjusted the idle thing at the side of the bike and that seemed to help untill the bike is warm and then when you come to a stop at traffic lights the bike is revving quite high so its like i cant win. that the 1st problem and the secound one is when riding the bike when it is cold for the first couple of miles untill it reaches about 70 degrees it looses alot of its power and then after that it seems to ride fine! i dont know alot about bikes so any help would be greatly appreciated thanks.

it has got a scorpion can on it yeh, it is spluttering and misfiring a little bit when warming up. as its warming up it has little bursts of power for maybe half a second then will missfire then go back to having little power untill it has fully warmed up. thanks for the reply
