Brake bleeding/nipple prob?

Just want a second opinion on whether my calipers are shot.......when I slightly crack off the front bleed nipple(s) it still doesn't release any fluid so I have to turn it a bit more until it releases fluid upon pumping the brake lever, but here lies the problem,at this position of the bleed nipple I am also suffering leakage being pushed up the thread of the bleed nipple itself and no doubt air being drawn in also. You all know how the caliper/nipple is situated with the wheel,hose,fork leg giving limited spanner turning room coz It takes me two different placings of the spanner to get fluid out,I can't do it in one movement....if you know what I mean.
The nipples tighten no problem and the threads look ok & hopefully they are the correct ones.I just can't seem to get past a spongey front brake.
Do I need new calipers or bleed nipples.....any suggestions???

if you need to buy some new nipples there only pence try wemoto but they sound ok to me if they are not leeking when tight they sound ok. and get yourself a brake bleeding tube. halfords sell them for around a £5 its just a one way valve on a tube that you push on the nipple crack it open then pump away without the air returning into the caliper and the fuild goes into an old jar easy one man job. just be careful not to empty your fluid resovoir or you will have to start again.

Thanks for the reply.....and for the record I have the 'little bleeder' piece of kit.....I'm sure you've heard of it, but it does not help in my current situation. For me to get the fluid flowing up the tube to the non return valve means me cracking off the nipple just to an exact position, unfortunately for me this same position allows fluid to to seep up the thread of the nipple when operating the lever. If I close the nipple just the tiniest fraction not only does it stop the seepage but it also stops any fluid flowing up the tube. It's a weird one.
These nipples loosen & tighten very well in the caliper so I'm wondering now what difference new nipples will make, probably nothing unless the ones I have are incorrect from previous owner, maybe it's something to do with the length. I'm at a loss right now.......brakes stop play.

What about putting a VERY small amount of ptfe tap around the thread and then bleeding them again. The best way to bleed is to work backwards and using a large shringe (fishing shops sell then for pike fishing) pump fluid up the system and remove excess from the master cylinder.

As a temporary (maybe) measure I'm gonna give the ptfe tape a whirl and see what happens, I will also order some new nipples as well.......would anyone have the torque settings for the banjo bolts.....or is there somewhere I can get a list of torque settings for the whole machine.
