hey

Got an gk76a and have a little bit problems with the engine.

When its warm or cold driving without choke or with(!!) it starts perfect, drives perfect, doesnt stall or hold in until....it goes full throtlle to the 13.000 rpm. From then on it goes further (pulled it to 16 today) but it looks like its having to less fuel or a ignition problem.
It looks/feels the same as a revlimiter on every injectionbike i had before. But with a limiter it wont rev any further and my bike does the opposite.

don so far:

new oil/filter
new plugs
did the valve clearance
checked the daifragms for leakage
did the orings
new float/upperpart gaskets
now runs with a cbr600 f3 thermostat that opens 5.5 degrees later.

How is the pickup sensor?? or the coilleads??
the revlimiter..when does it works?? @16000 rpm?

Havent pulled further then 15000 so far

The limiter works by cutting two cylinders and so it will rev past 13000 but give the symptoms you say.

It isn't a rev limiter to stop engine over-reving, it is to reduce top speed for japanese laws.

it a soft cut limiter to prevent over reving. there is also a hard cut limiter on the gear selector circuit but this is different to this issue.

i know....but there isnt a limiter in the clocks anymore.
It goes right about 215 km/u.... in 6 with 14-45 teeth..
