They work fine, I use a similar one with my bikes.

I have always used the headstock stands as they are far more secure than those shown in the pics. You are rather limited maintenance wise too as the fork legs cannot be removed on these. I bought my champion one for £20 second hand, rusty but it has been superb, rebuilt many front ends. Keep an eye on the bay as they are always popping up.

Order one of these stand the other month, arrived within a couple of days. only problem is that none that the pins dont fit the nc30 head stock as it is 27mm.

pins can be ordered from deamon tweeks at £5.33 + £7.25 p&p :o
or wiz bits for £7.50 inc p&p http://wizbizltd.co.uk/public/products.php?TagList=117" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

stand is well made by bike it.

Just bought one of the ones from Germany complete with extra 24 and 27 mm pins. Just over £50 all-in :ninja:

Just bought one of these stands from germany the only problem is that now that I have built it up, the top half swings forward or backwards and doesn't stay upright, can someone tell me if they are meant to be like that or is there something missing or have I done something wrong :?

Have you got the bike on it? The stands aren't rigid by themselves - but once inserted into the steerer tube, the stand can't possibly move. If it is moving then there's something wrong with the stand.
