as the title says lads its getting on my tit end now it fine till it warms up then the pissing thing goes off the chart o rings done pilots set to factory. thinking caps on people.

My first thought would be the choke, if it works the same as gk73 then the choke also opens the throttle a bit, when I start from cold with choke on the revs are low but as it warms up the revs will run away (sound familiar?) untill I lower the choke. Might be somewhere to start looking anyway?

air leak at the inlet rubbers? Spray some cold start at them and see if revs shoot up!

Ye, im thinking air leaks.
Check for cracks in the carb body etc.

Got a million things going so anything except the bike is being done. I help a local engineering firm out when they need some machine work done as they are 98% fab, was over there a few days ago and a guy with some grass tracker, gsxr1100 car thing came in so now im rebuilding his spare motor- i get to take it out for a spin after its done so seems an interesting thing to get involved in.

thanks rccaulfield just need to get them balanced then i will be realy happy, iam all out of stake knifes now and have a feeling chris's will get lost in the post
