I was thinking about that same 600 nose cone just to try it but glad I didn't.

Is it worth trying 600 sides as well to match the nose cone (and risking them not mating up to the engine cases)?

in my late teens and still on l-plates my mate bought a brand new fz600 and i was so jealous and wanted one sooo much i would have sold a kidney to get one-they still look fabulous today.as i remember one of his ex girlfreinds did some nasty artwork on it with front door key to make him consider his infidelity (SERVES HIM RIGHT-HE SOLD IT TO BUY A CHOPPER!)

Yup I had "Hair" ... a while ago, I was 21

The old air cooled 2 valve a cylinder FZ wasn't cut out for racing so people with money bought the new Areo CBR600, but with the 16" front and a good steel frame the little FZ went round corners and then some. The bike got stolen and crashed after thatI couldn't insurance nearly doubled and eventually I sold it to move to London. My next bike was a DT80MX and then a MTX125

This bike is how I knew about the FZR400 and I guess is one of the reasons I bought one.
