Carbs issue for my Project gk73a... what is my next option

Hello, just signed up to this forum. I am currently re-building a 1988 gsxr 400 gk73a from scratch, but trying to source genuine gk73a carbs and header pipes is like looking for the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
Would anyone be able to throw any light on whether i could use carbs and headers from another model of the gsxr family or from the bandit 400.
Really really want to finish my project and get it up and running b4 summer arrives.
Really appreciate any feedback.
Cheers to all

The carb bodys are the same, you'd need to swop over any jets that are different alto im sure apart from the needle they are the same.
People have swopped the pipe over but you have to swop the sump and the oil pick up as well as the bandit exhaust kicks over to the left and i think it can touch/melt the belly pan slightly.
If you interested i got an exhaut and pan/pick up- will swop for your pan/pick pu plus money for the pipe. The pipe is stainless and is chopped off at the end can so would need a slipon can.

Hi, variable. Many thanks for your reply. I have tonight found a set of 400 bandit carbs off a 1990 model. As for your kind offer, i will bear it in mind. Would i need to change the air box as well, cause i still have the original gk73a one, would this still fit the bandit carbs?
Also, is it possible to get a wiring diagram for the gk73a as i am getting a bit lost with the wiring aound the cdi back to the engine loom. I know the bike is grey, but surely there must be a wiring diagram on the WWW somewhere?
Many thanks.
Will get pics of bike on here asap.
