a freind who made the shock adapter for my hybrid has kindly agreed to make another one to go in my next hybrid being built at the moment.after reading the post with people asking for them i asked him if he would be interested in perhaps making 6 or so if there was enough interest from us all.

this is the one he made for mine on my first hybrid and will be similar to my new one and any more he makes as well.he reckons about £45 each to machine out of aluminium

if anybodys interested please let me know.

one of my kids suggested putting it on the r6 shock, and that little sticker has given me so many laughs over the last couple of years im going to get a new one to replace it- might try a wp one this time and see how many people think its a wp shock-i may even try a fisher price one!!

trouble is the shock doesnt look out of place on the 3tj and looks quite trick for a standard one,so its easy to get fooled!

Sorry if this is off-topic, but could you verify the length (eye to eye) of the OEM 3TJ shock. My bike came with an after market shock, and I have heard conflicting information regarding the standard length.
Also the number on my dogbones read 3GM. Is this the correct part number?
Cheers!

The standard 3TJ shock is about 335mm from the centres of the mounting eyes.
