I bought a foyeye /thundercat starter solinoid /relay thinking it would be the same a the 3he but it isnt and has more wires.

Does anyone know were these wires would connect to a 3he wiring loom with a 4jh cdi box and engine ?

Here is information i got from local yamaha dealer

blue /white start ciruit /cut off relay
2 thick reds Recifier /regulator . . . . . take these can be wired to battery
Red / White ignition fuse /engine stop

If weather is nice ill be having a go tomorrow as im getting tried of taking seats off each time i want to start bike

2 Thick reds ... one from the battery the other to the starter ... they're thw ones that bolt onto the solenoid

Fitted it but still get oil light come on when i press the starter button

Got this problem even with the 3he solinoid

Sounds like oil-light is switch faulty.

The oil pressure sender is in a different place on the 600 engines to the 3TJ. Are you sure you connected it ?

Wouldnt know with out looking at the 4jh engine

It was working ok until xmas day when i was in a hurry . . typical

Side stand switch isnt wired in toi the 4jh cdi box

What im looking for is information so i can check which wires goes were from the 4jh cdi box in the 3he loom

I'd have thought Haynes would have done it in a manual ??

Haynes manual does say were it is which is left hand side of engine and the wire for it comes up by the stator cover to a small block connector near were fuel tank tap is

One is yellow stipped with blue and cant remember what colour the other wire is
