Still wont rev!
Well,
After having the carbs off, ultrasonicly cleaning them, putting in all new 'o' rings and gaskets, ensuring all parts are present and working and in good condition, and fitting back together it still wont rev!
The bike starts easily enough, and idles nicely, and only revs and very tiny amount, only to about 2k, then it splutters and dies!
So having ruled the carbs out as a problem i checked the electrics - the CDI number matched up to that of a GSXR400, so i think thats probably ok. And its also running with a new set of plugs!
Anyone else got any ideas? The pilot screws are currently set to 1.5 turns out, could they need adjusting? Anything else to check or look out for?
