Can somebody clarify what i need for a Caliper upgrade for my NC30, Ive acquired a set of SES caliper adaptors from Graeme France, and im contemplating Brembo or Nissin calipers. Does anyone know if these adaptors will fit Brembo calipers? will they work with standard discs, standard master Cylinder/ lever?? also what braided lines are compatible?
Also what are better calipers??
Thanks
Kris

The brackets will be specific to only 1 sort of caliper I would have thought.

yeah Graeme stated they were for Sp1 and CBR600rr, just wondered how different the Brembo were! Do you know if you can use the standard master cylinder with the sp/cbr calipers??

Yeah the standard m/c will be ok (not ok for brembos).
I have sp1 calipers on a project nc30, yet to try them out but pretty sure they will be all anyone could need.

this has been done to death a few times
the plates for Brembo and Nissin are different.
if you use the std NC30 m/c you get super squidgy braking - they work but you can almost pull the lever back to the bar.
best is to get the whole braking system - lines, calipers and m/c from the same type of brake you are fitting.
Discs etc are fine.

Agree, best to get whole braking system. Had the Brembo set-up on my ex-NC30, and covers the 65mm brembo calipers, braided lines of bimota, brembo mastercylinder PSC 16mm, brembo brakelight switch, fluid reservoir, new SBS brake pads, SES-brembo adaptors (2-pad type), etc.
