Lack of power pulling away

I rode my bike for the first time in a few months today (it's been off the road due to generally crap conditions and the the carbs and brakes needed some lovin') and it's doing something strange... Pulling away from a few junctions today and at a couple of roundabouts I gave it some revs and when i let the clutch out the power just wasn't there. The engine revs fine, which makes me think it's a problem with the clutch. I notced a while ago that it was getting a bit reluctant to go into neutral and think i need to replace the clutch plates. Could worn plates be what's causing no power when pulling away? During riding moving through the gears is sweet and smooth and the engine revs cleanly. Any ideas?

Clutch might be slipping if the revs are climbing but the bikes going no where.
Try loosing the clutch out slowly with the front brake on.. the bike should stall straight away if the clutch isn't slipping, a badly worn clutch will just slip :D
