Here is how she is currently sitting in my garage, waiting for the suspension to be sent off to be refurbed.







I eventually got the exhaust off having started the process Monday night and rounded the final nut off. The Dremel sorted that little bugger out.



The front downpipes need new collars welded on (a common problem I think) but fortunately have a mate that will weld new ones on for me.



The forks came off without too much trouble at all



Whilst all the fairings are off I need to repair this crack that I made when I was using a socket and my hand flew off it.



Finally, I have this hugger to fit, had a trial with it yesterday and it should be a good fit. Getting sprayed up yellow, hopefully oil won't show up too much on that......

hehe, that's a bike trailer that's been worth its weight in gold!

Trying to acquire some spare fairings so I can get some respraying done to maybe white with castrol vinyls....I'm also trying to save for a masters though, so unfortunately I can't throw as much at it as I would like.

She should be back on the road by mid february, maybe there will be some conditions I can actually ride in by then!

it's been a while since I posted! A lot has happened/changed, some good some bad.

I will let the pictures do some talking too.

I got the NC30 back together after refurbing the suspension - frigging amazing difference.













So this is where she stood just after I posted last time. Larvely.

I did a novice track day on a gsxr600 round the tiny circuit at Silverstone - was fun. Went on the back of Niall Mckenzie's S1000rr. awesome fun.





I then went to work every day on her. I loved it.

A track day on the NC was next, at Cadwell. What a buzz! Amazing fun. I managed to overtake a few much faster bikes due to the awesome handling. Beautiful







I took her to the IOM TT with my dad. Not comfy, but a good laugh!



I then went back to university and took the NC with me. I now only live 35 miles from my sister, so I went to visit her.

On the way home next day - I miss a crossroads sign, but manage to see a mondeo estate's rear 3/4 as I plough in to it as they turn right. Needless to say entirely my fault.

Thankfully I was just badly bruised. Bike was not so great though. This is her on a trailer



A few post accident:







Me dad picked her up the following sunday and took her home. Stripped her down and examined; fixable!
Still in pieces at the moment, but most parts are already in my possession.



This is all the progress until I make it home during the holidays now. I plan to keep more up to date on her too.

Glad you are OK, the bikes are always repairable, people not so. Good luck with the rebuild.

Hope you're ok mate, you must be pissed off after all your efforts. Your bike did look great
pre accident, but it's all fixable and your suspension is still sorted.

shame about the bike mate but as stated the most important thing is you're still in one piece :)

the other bright side is your efforts will eventually pay off again..

also just a random observation but you guys have some ridiculously large licence plates! i mean...wow! baby got back! lol
