Sounds like an electrical earth problem to me. Check earth wire from battery to frame and the earth that goes to the CDI.

i dont tink its anyting to do with the sparkplugs as the bike drives fine before this problem occurs,,its fairly frustrating tho as i have checked everyting over and everyting looks fine but the bike is still acting up

no its not that either neo,,the fuel tap on the bike was broken when i got it so i removed the diaphram and inserted a inline fuel tap so the tank is gravity fed instead of vaccume and i have no kinks in the fuel line,,,to explain it a bit better its a bit like rectifier failure when the bike starts backfiring and dying out but its not the rectifier as i checked it and its fine ,,the voltage reading is constant and not reading all over the place like it would if the rectifier was dodgey

+1
Can't remember if there's an instrument guage earth wire (there is a tacho earth) but if there is it could also be responsible for your symptoms.

While you're checking wiring, it might be worth looking at all the loom connectors closely also. Check the instrument gauge plugs and others.
I've had issues in the past with pins being pulled out of connectors, the nc30 wiring system can become pretty poor with age (much better on nc35's).

Might help using a multi meter to see if theres a high resistance from each point. just a thought.
