Re: 33bhp restriction jetting??
I have a thread on this somewhere, there is much discussion over what jets need to be used or even if they need to be changed at all.
I thought my bike was running rich with the 33 bhp restrictors, I had it dyno'd, it isn't its running spot on its just the restrictors are making it run like crap, if yours is like mine then you'll be riding it around in 4th gear (least its always loud mind
)
Mine has a flat spot at around 5K.
If you can, its much cheaper to but consider getting it restricted using a throttle stop.

Re: 33bhp restriction jetting??
ah rite, well i'll have a look for the thread.
ive already got the restrictors so might aswell go with them, and they cost me squat, got them for 8 quid off ebay.
i've got my test in a week so i'll keep an eye on what people say, and iff nothing comes up i'll just get it dyno'd and put them in without changing, it wud probably help if i knew what size jets were in it atm tho. ha.
and yeah i agree atleast it sounds good
cheers.

Re: 33bhp restriction jetting??
You should be able to check your jets when you have the carbs off for the fitment of the washers. very simple to do.
Teh, when you get your dyno run you can ask the dude there what he recommends to bring it back inline from being probably very rich.
No need to be riding round in 4th as it won't pull top like DanHam - I'll bet he needs to lean it off as it is bogging down...

Re: 33bhp restriction jetting??
im running with restrictors and dont really have any probs not needed to touch the jets altho there is a tiny bit of a wiff of fuel so i guess it runs a tad rich pulls nice thru all gears but sits at 100mph wont go past that with restrictors in ,does me fine im very happy with it ,
