hi dos anyone know if its possible to fit the gold blade/sp1.2 callipers (which fit nc35s)onto nc30 forks with an adapter kit?im sure ive seen it done. ive bought a kit but thiere fouling or could i have bought the wrong one?any advice, knowledge would help oh an its not for any other reasen than posein as ive got two sets in the garadge!cheers

There are blade brakes that are for 310 mm discs..but as far as I am aware they are silver models...

They will still mount to the brackets and still work on the rotors..

None of them as far as I am aware..you need RC30 discs or a Stealth rotor replacement.

but iam confused here as i was wanting to up grade the brakes on of my NC race bike. Can anyone explain what brake calipers are needed to fit standard nc 30 forks and discs. And which is the correct conversion kit.

I have a pair i cbr 600 rr4 calipers are these the same as fireblade / sp1 type ?

2003-4 600rr and sp1/2 calipers will bolt on to nc30's using Rick Oliver's adapter brackets.

I believe these will bolt straight on to rvf's with no mods.

Are the Cbr600 and Sp1/2 calipers the same as the OEM ones off a RVF?

No mate, they're a newer design than the rvf calipers.

They might offer better performance over rvf calipers (probably negligible) but they look great in gold!
