Never tried the Rideen's - I fancy a set of Dunlop Alpha 10's next if anyone has used these, although everyone seem to be using the BT090's

Aren't they the GPR 70's and 80's?

If so the 70's are are good -used to have them on my NC30 - they didn't warn up as fast as the BT090's though,
the GPR80's were more of a commuting style tyre if i remember rigtly and more suited to touring as they were uber hard wearing.

As Smev says above, Rideen is a whole series of dunlop tyres.

Which model is it?

had a gpr80 rideen front and a gpr100 rear that came fitted to the bike didn,t realise they were commuting tyres until i dumped bike in the wet. after further research found gpr100 only listed now as a fitment in sizes to suit a burgmann etc guess previous owner picked them up as old stock somewhere they have now been skipped . for touring commuting bt92 or sport bt090 bridgestones or dunlop alpha 10s etc

As I said before GPR 70's were the sports tyres at the time but have been surpassed by more modern technology - BT090's or dunlop Alpha 10's are the latest decent tyres with the 18" rear option
