I have just bought a brand new road legal Motad Venom stainless steel silencer that has a 51mm diameter inlet opening.

My problem is the silencer that is on at the moment is 61mm and the point where it mounts to the collector / downpipes is also 61mm so the Venom silencer wont slip on!

The Venom can is about the same length as the can thats on now, so I cant understand it? Does any one know if the Yamamoto or aftermaket downpipes a different diameter to the originals?
