hrc and race parts
Hi all. friend of mine is asking about the above bits for an nc29. when i was telling her about my fancy bits for my bike she was saying that she wanted something similar for hers.
whats available for track/road?

as you know thereare a number of people who will do suspesion upgrades for the 29, Maxton, K-tech etc etc
as for HRC parts they are like hens teeth you can if you are lucky scource a HRC CDI but to get one from the uk you will be looking at £200+, exhaust systems again are rare unless you want to go down the graeme france route I waited a long time to get hold of my Beet system so they are out there, Ram Air is really a no brainer for a road bike it can make the low down revs fluffy and really you need to run it with a minimal air filter and it doesnt really come into effect until you are hitting around 60-80 MPH so not really practical.
Tell your mate to spend her money on decent suspension a fork rebuild and shock from Maxton will set her back around £900 but will be money well spent and dont piss around trying to jet it yourself a proper set up with a decent dyno operator will get her gains of up to 10 BHP again money well spent...

Yeah but how much of that is realistic on a road bike? I want fast but not to the detrement of the low speed town riding etc
