i swapped out a 15t for a 14t recently and all i did was loosen the 17mm pinch bolt and slacken the rear hub until the chain was fully lossened , removed the front sprocket cover, undid the 14mm nut ,pulled the chain off the sprocket and removed it.
instalation was the reverse.

Remove bottom fairing
Remove sprocket cover
Sit on bike with right foot on the brake, socket and wrench on the sprocket bolt and give it a good tug.
Remove bolt
Slacken off the chain
Remove sprocket and replace with new 14T
Reassemble
job done

You can get away with using a long flathead screwdriver as a drift and knocking the hub round with a hammer, it's what I use until I buy the tool

Just be carefully you don't mash the teeth on the hub if using the hammer and screwdriver method

just buy the tool, it's only £16 quid and it beats the £60+ you'll have to pay when the screwdriver messes up the teeth on the adjuster.
