Re: Turning over now - wont fire
I have been riding on off for just over two years now.
I seem to have this problem with my bike too, it is a gk76a. I have tried everything i can think of and my problem points towards an electrical fault. i have replaced the ECU but still it wont fire up.
Can anyone help me with my problem?
Cheers
Matt

Hi Matt,
You will have to expand on the problem- do you have a spark? are the plugs wet with un burnt fuel, etc.
Chris.

Hi, No Sparks from any of the plugs, however all the lights work, plugs arent wet... both coils have a resistance through them so does everything else... although i do not have specific figures of what they are supposed to be...cant think of what the problem could be.

A few things to look at are- fuse, can you hear the relay's switch when you turn the ignition on, is there 12v at the coils, disconnect the righthand switch and check with a meter that the kill switch is good. If these are good next check the signal generator (two wires from the left case) should be about 100/110 ohm.

Re: Turning over now - wont fire
I have checked it and the fuses are fine, the relay switch is working fine too, the kill switch is good as it attempts to turn over, there is no voltage getting to the coils and there is about 175 Ohm at the signal generator. Is this the problem or does it not matter?
