I know the upsides but can they do any harm to the 3tj engine? Would they be recommended for everyday use or more of a race/track thing? Thanks.

the only probs with iridiums ive had are after a while the electrodes can weaken and drop into the cylinder (all on high revving IOM motors), id check them regularly after a few races and replace to be safe. 50 quid for a set is a lot cheaper than a new cylinder. to be honest i would just stick to standard issue plugs for a road bike.

I know its not a 3TJ but i use them in the RRW Blade and have had no problems, old plugs were knackered so couldnt give an accurate comparison to standard.

£30 a set (on the last ones) from
http://www.sparkplugs.co.uk" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; I've used them on my TJ and the Bimota, the GSX-R1100W is heavy on plugs.
Recently though I've put a set of the twn electrode NGKs into the TJ

I've got them in the TRX & had no problems but I have always used standard NGK plugs in the 3TJ race bike again no problems.

I think as long as you change them fairly regularly you'll be ok whatever you fit

I think I'll be getting them then. 22£ delivered off ebay is cheaper than standars here in Portugal. Cheers.
