Hello,
i have recently bought a NC 23 track bike it came to me without a screen.
I`ve now got a screen, good old ebay, but am not sure how to fit it.
Do iIneed well nuts to bolt it to the support arms and if so what size do I need to buy.
Not sure if the bolts would go from outside in or from inside out if that makes sense?
Any advise would be good.
thanks
John

Just slip the screen inside the nose cone and bolt it up (if that makes sense).
Basically the screen only bolts to the nose cone, not the support arm or anything.

But the support arms have holes that line up with pre drilled holes in the screen?
Otherwise what are the arms for?
Thanks again
JK

Certainly on the 29 the mirrors bolt through the screen and into the upper fairing brackets, I'm pretty sure the 23's do as well.

If its a track bike just stick a cable tie through the holes in the screen and secure it to the screen brace, far quicker.

Use a Cable Tie?
Sounds slighty rough, I`ll do it

Cable ties are for winners! Dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

The choke cable is missing from my bike so can you guess what replaces it?
Yes a cable tie.
I`m not a total bodger, the engine is held in with nuts and bolts.

On an NC23, the screen should sit inside the top of the nose-cone and the support arms do line up also (hence the holes) and need to be fixed through the screen. Last time I replaced my screen, I got a set of black rubberised self-locking nuts and bolts from Honda (I wouldn't normally but they look pretty smart it was hard to resist). The head of the bold sits on the outside of the fairing with the nut on the inside of the screen. Shouldn't take you more than 5 minutes to fit it. If you want photos of my bike's set up, let me know.
