think i ave a fuel problem

fzr400 3en1 several times this has happened bike starts fine runs fine thaen after oin out on very short ride and left for a bit will only idle with the throttle 1/3 any more it cuts out or any lower but after 15m-20m the bike will start an run as normal but tonight after the first none start event after a 4mile run then stopped at her mums the problem occured bike started 20m later 3miles down the road nearly home the bike cut out again lucky anougth the rest of the way was down hill got the bike nearly home she came back to life again am i right in thinkin this is a fuel problem

took the fuel tank off taps were flowing fine then noticed ive been running the bike on reserve for a good while the fuel filter looks crapped up, blew through it looks like it could do with a good clean out my next daft Q what fuel filters can i repace it with as there was no fzr400 filters on the bay but there was 6mm and 8mm which one fits cheers

cheers EVIL bought that fuel filter you pulled it out the bag again your like a dad to me, you know everthing thanks again

To be fair I was thinking about the trapped breather too
