Not worth it unless racing and even then only its very debatable as to if worth it.

If you want to try before you buy just disconnect the reg/rec and see how much grief it is for you.

I made my nc30 race bike run total loss for the last 2 race meets and my opinion is DONT do it!!

I run a quickshifter and as soon as the voltage drops on the batery the shifter box stops working,
i think for the small gain in bhp you get, it just aint worth it!!
plus you have to top up or carry a spare battery and if like me you have an undertray its a real
pain in the ass.......

My mate ran total loss - I think he even went as far as removing the fly wheel - and just had to bump start it everywhere or pop it on charge each day at the end of his rides.
He semed impressed by it :?
But each to their own I guess :|

Possibly the loss of the flywheel would be more of an advantage than anything else, I'm going with the GSXR1000 flywheel on our track bike but that is already missing a charging circuit so I'm not losing anything.

Yeah I'll be doing the same soon (with g-force adapter kit). I have the adapter, just holding off sourcing the suzi parts.

Total loss? Each to their own, but I usually have my hands full with any other drama you can mention at the track wothout the need of flat batteries!

I am going to run total loss on my race bike and I already run the gixxer rotor on my road bike.

I'll fit some optimate leads to my race bike and get it on the genny when I stop - simple really.

The gixxer genny makes a decent difference to the pick up so I'll bet total loss makes some more to my race bike.

+1 on the Gixxer stuff from G-force

Its quality stuff and makes my bike feel so much better altoug I don't yet have the dyno proof!!!!!!!!
