out of interest, (as my temp gauge lights gone too) what size are they?

I got mine replaced from my local auto part store. Not sure what size they were, or bulb, but they had loads of them. Just take them out and go down with them.

What about fitting type LED into the dash...as replacement to the standard bulb?

correct. Before with the stand bulb type...and after with led type.
Much brighter. He got the led type from an auto parts store.
