NC30 BOTTOM RAD

The bottom rad on my nc30 looks goosed, ive heard the one off a peugeot speedfight scooter goes on is this true? and easy to do ? or where do i get a cheap genuine one? cheers all.

Speedfighter rads look the same but are smaller, have not got the same outlets etc and are crap ;)

is your rad fecked? Clean it and straighten the fins and go from there 8-)

it looks like its covered in green bogies ! think its leaking, only had bike 3 weeks, turning it into a track tool, first 400 ive ever had after milles r1s ect so just finding my smaller feet ! not even ridden it yet n its stripped and work in progress. cheers for advice.

Get it off the bike and in the dishwasher..when the fun adjuster is out ;)

Rads are rocking horse shit and hens teeth being found on a month of Sundays...big dollar for new.

I've had 4 different bottom rads and i've always recieved them in the same gunked up condition, I normally stuck it through the dishwasher once or twice, Then used compressed air through the back of it blowing the shite back out the front, then run hot soapy water through it, then then air again, then tap, then air, then tap etc etc. I also used a sewing needle to straighten my fins out. it can be tedious but more often that not it does help.

Im having a newone made using the old one as a pattern. Try Rick at Alutec, been quoted £110.
